Bob started playing guitar during his freshmen year of high school after falling in love with the music of the Beatles and "British Invasion." He's been playing in bands ever since.
Bob holds a degree in music from College of DuPage. He creates the vocal arrangements that form the "Phoenixx Sound". Bob really channels the famous rock guitarists whose songs the band covers.
Dave Rapp - Bass, DJ & Vocals
Dave's been Playing in bands starting early 60's. Drafted in 1968, he played bass in the ship's band aboard the U.S.S Valley Forge in Vietnam. Since then, Dave has played in many bands and also has a studio recording background, with four albums.
One of Dave's song lyrics says "Music Is Love And Love Is Music"... That pretty much says it all.
Scott Blettner - Drummer, Master of Ceremonies, Vocals
Scott has played with and been taught by some of the greatest drummers in the world. He has studied with legends the likes of Gene Krupa, Joe Morello, Carmine Apice, Dave Weckl and Neal Pert. His experience, intuition and ability to read an audience assure that Phoenixx is playing the right songs at the right time to keep people dancing.
Stan Orr - Keyboards and Vocals
Rounding out our talented lineup is our newest member, Stan Orr. Stan comes from a musical family and gets his inspiration from his father who was a professional organist. Beginning his piano studies at the age of eight, Stan brings his strong vocals and rich keyboard tonalities to the band, which are a major component to the Phoenixx experience, enabling the band to deliver more complex harmonies to the stage than ever before.
Steve Pence - Rhythm Guitar
Steve started playing guitar at the ripe old age of eight and also learned bass in high school. While in high school he played in the pit band for the school musicals and he competed at state as vocalist with the Mixed Chorus, Madrigal, Barbershop, and as a soloist in various competitions. Steve has a knack for finding the missing tenor harmony in any song we play.
